Hi Christine – so sorry I missed your going away party. I trust you will have a wonderful time on your journey… I look forward to following your adventures.
I should let you know that I will be retiring at the end of May (it’s not official yet). I will take some time off and then do contract work or something with my own company.
All the best Christine – I have enjoyed working with you and I always admired your enthusiasm and passion for your work.
Take care and Godspeed.

Thank you! I’m so proud to be your niece! If I can be even the tiniest bit as brave and adventurous as you are, I will have lived a good life.

It was interesting chatting to you yesterday on board. Hope your first night was restful and that the tropical sounds did not disturb your sleep. We went to bed with the sound of the crickets and frogs. We were awakened with the sound of the birds singing and the woodpecker pecking. We loved it! Firne and Claudette

Hey Christine, I must admit it takes a reminder from our This Week at RPD to remember to visit your Blog, which by the way starts to sink in how lucky we are living in this part of Canada (other than the cold wet winters). I must also confess when I am in the Vancouver office I still go by your workstation forgetting you aren’t there and missing your updates on the operation of the Robson Square water feature (which by the way is still not up and running this year)! Take care and keep up the great work and worthy cause.

Thanks Gorman! We are indeed very lucky in Canada. Thanks for checking the blog when you can, and for fighting the good fight when it comes to the water feature!
